Description

Sodium Carbonate – Natural pH Adjuster

Sodium Carbonate, also known as washing soda, is a mineral-based compound used to create an alkaline environment in natural dyeing. It is especially valued for preparing indigo vats, but can also be used more broadly wherever pH adjustment is needed in the dyeing process.


 
Instructions for Use

Dissolve the required amount of Sodium Carbonate into warm water before adding it to your dye bath. Always measure carefully, as pH balance is key to achieving even, lasting colours.
