What You Can Make

The included ingredients prepare a strong 10-liter indigo vat capable of dyeing approximately 1–1.5 kg (2.2–3.3 lb) of natural fibers to medium or deep shades of blue. Lighter shades will allow you to dye a greater quantity of fabric, while repeated dips for very dark indigo blues will reduce the total amount that can be dyed.
