Description
Also known as bourette silk, raw silk; zijden stof (Dutch), Seidenstoff (German), tissu de soie (French), בד משי (Hebrew).
This medium-weight silk noil (142 g/m²) has a gently nubby texture, with an extremely soft hand and flowing drape. Versatile and breathable, it is ideal for light clothing, scarves, or even bedding, a fabric that feels luxurious while keeping the natural character of silk intact.
Produced in China by a fully integrated mill that grows its own mulberry trees, rears the silkworms, spins, and weaves the fabric on-site, this silk noil reflects quality and traceability from cocoon to cloth.
