New in from our incredible fairtrade weaver cooperative, handwoven by artisans from 100% wool.

These shawls are very different from what we usually have, beautiful off-white wool shawls at a luxurious 70-200cm size. Perfect for natural dyes or botanical prints. In the product pictures, I have added a sample of these wool shawls, printed with varied leaves and using a logwood blanket

These shawls contain quite a bit of lanolin. I clean them the following way:
wash by hand with a spoon of dishwashing detergent in hand-warm water, and soak overnight. Rinse with cold water, and repeat the process. The water should be clear after this. Continue with mordanting.

Usual maintenance: Handwash with pH-neutral detergent at 35ºC max.

Premium Kashmiri wool warp and weft.
Warp 2/48 two ply

As always: these are handwoven products so irregularities are part of the handmade charm!
