Description

This extraordinary wool fabric is handwoven in India from millspun Kashmiri wool, carrying with it the artistry of West Bengal’s master weavers. At an extra-wide 144 cm (56 in), it provides a wide canvas for your creativity with natural dyes, botanical printing, or unique handmade garments.

Sourced locally and woven without harsh chemicals, this wool is cruelty-free and retains much of its natural lanolin, giving it a soft hand and distinctive, authentic character. Safety & Compliance

Before mordanting/dyeing: wash by hand with a spoon of mild dish detergent in hand-warm water, soak overnight, rinse in cold water. Repeat until water runs clear (to remove lanolin).

After dyeing/washing: hand wash gently at max. 35°C with pH-neutral wool detergent.

Drying: roll in towel to remove excess water, reshape, and dry flat away from heat and sunlight.
