It is ideal for low-impact dyeing and printing, saving both time and water while producing shades that are lightfast and washfast. Excellent for eco printing on protein fibers.

Shading Tips

No mordant needed on silk: clear blues, greens, and mint tones
Alum: slightly brighter greens
Iron: muted blue-greens, smoky turquoise
